These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Joebox desktop application ("Software" or "App") and the website at joebox.app ("Website"), provided by Startup Europe India Network Limited ("Company", "we", "us" or "our"), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 10245686).
By downloading, installing or using Joebox, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Software.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use Joebox on devices you own or control.
Licence keys are issued to a specific person or organisation and must not be shared with, transferred to, sold to or used by another person or organisation without our permission.
A licence may be used on devices owned or controlled by the licence holder. We may set and enforce reasonable limits on the number of devices on which a licence may be activated.
We may suspend or revoke a licence where it has been obtained fraudulently, shared or transferred in breach of these Terms, used in connection with a chargeback, or otherwise used in breach of these Terms.
The Software may periodically validate your licence.
Purchases are processed by Paddle, which acts as Merchant of Record for transactions. Paddle processes payments, applicable taxes and transaction records in accordance with its own terms and policies.
Pro subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before renewal. You may manage or cancel your subscription through the payment tools made available by Paddle. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise required by applicable law.
A limited number of complimentary Pro Lifetime licences were issued before 25 August 2026 and are no longer available. Existing holders may continue to use the Pro features available under their licence, subject to these Terms and applicable law.
A consumer resident in the United Kingdom or the European Union may cancel a purchase within 14 days of the date of purchase, without giving a reason. This right arises under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and equivalent legislation in the consumer's country of residence.
The right applies whether or not the Software has been downloaded, installed or used. No waiver of it is required at purchase, and none is relied upon.
Notice of cancellation may be given by any clear statement to support@joebox.app, or through the payment provider named on the purchase receipt. Refunds are made to the original payment method no later than 14 days after receipt of the notice. No fee is charged for cancellation.
In addition to the right set out above, we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for paid plans. Refund requests should be made within 30 days of purchase through the applicable payment or support process. Refunds are processed through the applicable payment provider. Where both apply, the more favourable to the consumer applies.
We may change the price or features of future plans or subscriptions. Changes to subscription pricing will not affect an existing subscription until its next renewal, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Joebox, including its software, code, design, branding, documentation and associated intellectual property, is owned by or licensed to Startup Europe India Network Limited.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of any intellectual property rights to you.
You may not use the Joebox name, logo or other brand assets without our prior written permission, except where necessary to refer to Joebox in a truthful and non-misleading manner.
Your accounts, credentials and the content you access through them remain on your device and are not received by us as part of normal operation.
Certain limited information may be processed by us, including licence information, an email address where provided, support requests and crash reports where you choose to send them.
Our collection and handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for loss of locally stored data resulting from deletion, device failure, software failure or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Joebox may allow you to access third-party services such as messaging, email, collaboration or other web-based services.
Those services are provided and controlled by their respective providers. Your use of them is subject to their own terms, policies and requirements.
We do not control third-party services and do not guarantee that they will remain available or compatible with Joebox. A third-party provider may change its service, restrict access or discontinue functionality at any time.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, references to or display of third-party names, trademarks or logos do not imply affiliation with or endorsement by their respective owners.
You must not use Joebox to:
Joebox is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with every device or third-party service, or suitable for a particular purpose.
Your use of Joebox is at your own risk.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for: death or personal injury caused by our negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Startup Europe India Network Limited and its directors, employees, agents and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss or damage, including loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, goodwill or data.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to Joebox or these Terms will not exceed the greater of:

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify Startup Europe India Network Limited and its officers, directors, employees and agents against reasonably foreseeable direct losses, damages and reasonable costs arising from:
This clause does not apply to loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, and your total liability under it is subject to the same limit as clause 9.
You may stop using Joebox at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your licence if you breach these Terms or where otherwise permitted by applicable law.
If your licence is terminated, your right to use the Software under that licence ends.
Termination does not affect provisions that by their nature should continue to apply, including provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law.
Nothing in this section affects any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
We may update, modify or improve the Software from time to time. Updates may add, modify or remove features.
We may also update these Terms. Where changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice through the Website, the Software or another appropriate method.
Where a change is material and affects a paid subscription, we will give at least 30 days' notice by email or in the Software before it takes effect. A subscriber who does not accept the change may cancel before it takes effect and receive a refund of the unused part of the current billing period.
For changes that are not material, continued use of Joebox after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of them.
We may discontinue the Software or parts of it where reasonably necessary. Where applicable law requires a remedy or notice, we will comply with those requirements.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Nothing in these Terms deprives a consumer of any mandatory protections available under the laws of their country of residence.
Before starting formal legal proceedings, you agree to contact us at support@joebox.app and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve the matter informally.
Subject to applicable law and mandatory consumer rights, the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Joebox.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce it later.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the agreement between you and us regarding Joebox.
